We’ve just drafted an email which we hope should reach affiliated West District clubs in the next day or so. We’re attaching it here for the benefit of our mailing list recipients.
We’re just writing to remind clubs about the inaugural West District League event in ten days time (Saturday, 19th November in Strathaven), and highlight a few key bits of information.
Firstly, please ensure you’ve arranged for printed race numbers for your members. Each club must provide their own, and have been assigned a unique number (which won’t change). They can found on our website here: westleague.org.uk/club-numbers/ – Please get in touch ASAP via email@example.com if your club is missing, so we can assign you a number.
We’ve started collating details of companies that will print numbers to the right format (ie, club number + gender) or are recommended. You can find details on the website here: westleague.org.uk/ordering-team-numbers/ – If you’ve a company, particularly local, that you’d like to list/recommend, please get in touch, and we’ll happily add them. Remember to allow time for delivery, if ordering directly.
Lastly, if you’ve not already seen them, details of Event #1 are on the website at: westleague.org.uk/events/strathaven/ – Note that races are scheduled to start at midday on the 19th. and many of them will be run as combined events. Lots of other details, race license details, satnav postcodes etc, on the page. We’d highlight the important request about avoid parking on Lethal Road.

For website/mailing list readers, we’d add that our Results pages are starting to come together. We’ll hopefully have things finished a few days before the race, together with some examples.
