2023/24 Season wrapup, results

Apologies for the delay in getting this post together. Latest results have been/are available on the results page at results.westleague.org.uk, but due to personal commitments, I’ve not had a chance to spend time writing the summary up.

Below you’ll find a brief summary of Event #3 at Erskine, and then a summary of the final league positions/standings.

Later this weekend/early next, we’ll publish a breakout of the finances. We hope to have an online meeting on 11th March (TBC) before or after the next West District RR&CC meeting. A post will follow with details when it’s confirmed.

Erskine summary

Many thanks to Kilbarchan AAC for putting on a superb event on 10th February. Thanks in particular to John Rodger, all the volunteers and officials.

We had 369 participants across the event, and hopefully helped lots of participants go on to solid results in the National XC.

Results are available on the League results website, with a single summary PDF available here.

Season conclusion

Results delay

Sincere apologies for the delay in publishing this result summary. A very busy spell at work meant my available time declined, and time got away from me.

We will be discussing the logistics of organising the league in the season wrapup meeting. We would like to encourage more people to get involved with event coordination/planning. Results will hopefully be reworked to be more inclusive/visible in time for the next season.

2024/25 season

  • Meeting on provisionally, March 11th to discuss the conclusion of the 2023/24 season, agree fees, and start discussing provisional dates and venues. Details to follow when confirmed.
  • Offers of assistance with the management of the league would be very welcome.
